MY NAME IS NIKI,

I AM A TRAVEL ADDICT IN LOVE WITH SUNSHINE AND PALM TREES.

I’m a worldcitizen. I believe boarders should not stop us from exploring the world, we are here to learn.

Visiting a new place gives me ultimate freedom, meeting new people from around the world also teaches me more about myself. I believe traveling is the only thing that you can buy and it will make you more rich in life. This blog is my tool to tell you what’s beyond the tour guidebook. I am seeking for moments which take my breath away.

Currently I live in Israel which is one of the most diverse countries I have ever visited. Tel Aviv is a very colorful city with high tech startups, hipster neighborhoods, vegan restaurants, plenty of dogs, artists and immigrants from all around the world who came to this tiny country and love to watch the sunset by the beach.

I grew up in Hungary, but right after high school I started to explore the world. After graduation I moved to Brussels for a year and than I studied in Vienna, where I got my Intercultural Business Administration Degree.

In the beginning of 2015 I moved to Hong Kong where I worked as a real estate agent for Sotheby’s. After Hong Kong I moved to Guangzhou, China for 2 years until 2018 December and it was an unforgettable experience. I also learnt Chinese language and it helped to understand the culture better.

Having lived 4 years in Asia turned out to be an amazing adventure. Living in China was challenging for me everyday, as this culture is totally different from what I am used to in Europe. Respecting cultures and still keeping your own identity is a challenging mission, but it gives experiences that you can never get elsewhere. I traveled to over 50 countries in my life so far and this list will only grow. Luckily I got the best travel partner ever, my husband and we take turns on pointing our next destination on the map.

If you have any questions about traveling in Asia or would love to connect, feel free to ask me, I am happy to help: pataki.nikolett91@gmail.com

Cheers,
Niki
